First let's talk about Java. Accessing our Java chat is just about as easy as anything could be. There will be a space for you to type the nickname that you would like to use for chat, then click Connect.Once you are in the chat room you may move from room to room or change your nickname very easily. To move to a new room type "/Room Roomname" or click on the room icon it will list all rooms which are currently active on the server. If any of the rooms look interesting to you then just click on it's name to join. If you would like to create your own room type the name you would like your room to be known as in the "Go To Room" box, and hit enter. Before you register a room talk to one of the Admin so that they can help you register your private room. The server Admin for DeshiChat are always there to help you.

To change your nickname click the "CMDS" button and select "Chat Options" from the list that pops up, then type your new nickname in the box labeled Nickname, and press Enter. It's as simple as that.

First you will need an IRC client mIRC and DeshiMirc are both nice. Chat with an IRC client allows you to use a lot more features than java chat does. Features such as File transfers, chatting in multiple rooms, and an endless amount of configurable options. DeshiMirc has more options then any other mIRC. It can protect you form ping flood and other war stuffs. Using an IRC client is very simple. First you will need to download and install the program, then open it by clicking on the new icon that was created. After you start the program you will need to set it up by entering information about yourself, such as your name you would like to use. Keep in mind that your nickname can be just about anything you want, and you can change it at anytime. You will also need to choose a server to use, if you want to use DeshiMirc then you should add: irc.DeshiChat.com to the server list.
